EU store, euro prices. All links go to eur.vevor.com, VEVOR’s European store. Prices are in euros, VAT included, exactly as the store showed them on October 30, 2026, with Romania as the delivery country the store selected for us. None of the eleven prices was a timed deal. Ten pages showed free shipping; the 1500W turbine showed a 40,00 € shipping fee to Romania. Delivery dates ranged from Nov 1 to Nov 5. Each page also advertised 5,00 € off orders of 99,00 € or more on your first 3 app orders; our prices are before that offer.
A small wind turbine on a mast charges a battery bank at a cabin, farm building, boat or camper when the sun is not shining. VEVOR’s EU store sells horizontal-axis turbines from 500 W to 1500 W and two solar-wind kits. We went through the 11 listings that were in stock on October 30, 2026, from 128,90 € to 867,99 €; nine others were out of stock. The honest way to compare them is rotor size, system voltage (12 V or 24 V), the controller in the box and what is missing (mast, battery), not the watt number in the title: every one of these turbines is rated at a wind speed of 12 m/s.

All list a 2.5 m/s start-up wind speed and a 12 m/s rated wind speed. Review scores are pooled: all nine turbine pages show the same 3.7 out of 5 from 120 reviews, with 20% of them 1-star, and a review titled “Vevor 500 Watt” appears on the 800W, 1200W and 1500W pages too. The two kits share 3.7 from just 3 reviews (one of them 1-star). A review may be about a different turbine than the one you are looking at.

Rated watts vs rotor size
The watt figure is what a turbine makes at its rated wind speed of 12 m/s, about 43 km/h (our arithmetic): a strong, steady breeze most sites see only on stormy days. VEVOR itself recommends these turbines for “wind-rich areas, especially where the average wind speed exceeds 3 Beaufort scale.” Power in the wind rises with the cube of wind speed, so at half the rated speed (6 m/s) a turbine makes roughly one eighth of its rating; a 1000 W rating becomes about 125 W (our arithmetic).
What actually catches wind is the rotor. On VEVOR’s own pages, the same 1.5 m rotor is sold as a 400 W turbine in the 600W kit, an 800 W 3-blade turbine and a 1000 W turbine. The same 1.2 m rotor is a 200 W turbine in the 400W kit and a 500 W turbine sold alone. For scale: at 12 m/s, the wind passing through a 1.5 m circle carries about 1,870 W, and the theoretical maximum any rotor can extract (the Betz limit, 59.3%) is about 1,110 W. A 1000 W rating on that rotor would mean 90% of the theoretical limit; the 400 W kit rating means 21% of the wind’s power (our arithmetic, standard air density 1.225 kg/m³).
So compare price per square metre of rotor rather than price per watt (our arithmetic):
Turbine: FT-800 800W, 1.336 m
- Rotor area: 1.40 m²
- Price per m² of rotor: 99 €
Turbine: 800W 3-blade, 1.5 m
- Rotor area: 1.77 m²
- Price per m² of rotor: 104 €
Turbine: 500W 3-blade, 1.2 m
- Rotor area: 1.13 m²
- Price per m² of rotor: 114 €
Turbine: 1000W, 1.5 m
- Rotor area: 1.77 m²
- Price per m² of rotor: 169 €
Turbine: 1200W 24V, 1.7 m
- Rotor area: 2.27 m²
- Price per m² of rotor: 170 €
Turbine: 1500W 24V, 2.1 m
- Rotor area: 3.46 m²
- Price per m² of rotor: 182 €
The cheapest rotor area on the store is the FT-800 at about 99 € per m², and the biggest 12 V rotor (1.5 m) costs 183,90 € as the “800W” or 297,99 € as the “1000W”, a difference of 114,09 € (our arithmetic). The 1000W adds a wind & solar hybrid controller; the 800W comes with a wind-only MPPT controller.

12 V or 24 V, battery and controller
- Battery only. Asked whether a turbine could feed a 12 V immersion heater directly, VEVOR answered: “It can only connect to the battery and charge the battery.” On the 400W kit: “Yes, it must be used with a battery.” Only the 600W kit includes one (12.8 V, 100 Ah LiFePO4).
- 12 V or 24 V. Seven turbines and both kits are 12 V; the 1200W and 1500W are 24 V. Match the battery bank. VEVOR answered: “We currently do not have 48-volt wind turbines.”
- MPPT or hybrid controller. The 500W, 800W 3-blade and FT-800 MPPT pages come with a wind-only MPPT controller (VEVOR claims “92%+ energy conversion efficiency” for the FT-800’s). The FT-800 hybrid, 1000W, 1200W and 1500W include a wind & solar hybrid controller that “supports external solar panels”. The same FT-800 costs 31,00 € more with the hybrid controller (our arithmetic).
- Full battery. VEVOR says the 800W 3-blade controller “does not need to be equipped with an unloader. After being fully charged, the controller will brake for protection,” and that it also brakes when the wind exceeds the permissible speed.
- A red light with no wind is normal: VEVOR explained (our translation from Norwegian) that the MPPT controller turns on its red charge light once it is connected to the 12 V battery.

Mast, cable and siting
- No mast in the box. Five titles say “Tower Pole Not Included”, and on the 500W page VEVOR confirmed (our translation from Finnish) that no mounting base or mast comes with the turbine, only small fixing parts. Budget for a pole, guy wires and anchoring.
- Cable. For a 15–20 ft (about 4.5–6 m) run, VEVOR recommends “a 3-core 4mm² cable” on the 800W 3-blade page; on the FT-800 page it advised (our translation from Finnish) 3-core 2.5 mm² cable with a maximum length of 50 m. On the 500W page it said the turbine should be less than 20 m from the cabin (our translation from Norwegian). The two answers disagree; for long runs ask VEVOR before buying cable.
- Rotation. VEVOR says the turbine has internal slip rings, “so the cables can rotate 360 degrees without tangling.”
- Noise. 55 dB is listed for the 500W turbines and 58 dB for the 800W 3-blade.
- Measure first. The 500W is also sold with a handheld anemometer for 15,00 € more (our arithmetic). Check your average wind before choosing a size; local rules on mast height and distance from neighbours vary across Europe.

Solar-wind kits
The 400W kit (446,99 €) combines two 100 W panels, a 200 W wind turbine with a 1.2 m rotor and a 12 V 600 W MPPT hybrid controller, plus 5 m solar and 9 m turbine cables; no battery. VEVOR says it is “generating up to 1.6KWh/day electricity”. The 600W kit (867,99 €) has the same two panels, a 400 W turbine with a 1.5 m rotor, a 12 V 400 W wind controller, a 12 V 1000 W hybrid solar inverter and a 12.8 V 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery, “generating up to 2.4KWh/day electricity”.
Both daily figures equal the kit’s full nameplate power for exactly 4 hours (1.6 kWh ÷ 400 W and 2.4 kWh ÷ 600 W), and the 600W kit’s battery stores about 1.28 kWh, less than its claimed daily output (our arithmetic). The 600W kit costs 421,00 € more than the 400W kit for the battery, the inverter and a bigger turbine (our arithmetic). Both pages warn that parts may ship in separate packages.

Read the listing twice
- Same rotor, different watts. 1.5 m rotor: 400 W in the 600W kit, 800 W and 1000 W sold alone. 1.2 m rotor: 200 W in the 400W kit, 500 W alone. Compare rotor size, not the title.
- Model number vs title. The 1200W turbine’s spec list gives model number FD1500W, and the 1500W turbine’s gives FD2000W.
- The cheaper 800W. The FT-800 five-blade 800W costs 138,99 €, only 10,09 € more than the 500W 3-blade and 44,91 € less than the 800W 3-blade, which has the bigger 1.5 m rotor (our arithmetic).
- The 40 € shipping fee. VEVOR’s policy charges Romania 40 € per item for items of 30 kg and above (Ireland and Portugal 10 €, Finland and Croatia 30 €). The 1500W (25.7 kg net) showed the fee, making it 671,99 € delivered to Romania (our arithmetic).
- Pooled reviews. 3.7 stars from 120 reviews on all nine turbine pages, 20% 1-star; a “Vevor 500 Watt” review shows on the 1500W page.
- Daily output claims. “Up to 1.6KWh/day” and “up to 2.4KWh/day” assume full rated power for 4 hours a day (our arithmetic).

FAQ
Which VEVOR wind turbine is cheapest?
The 500W 12 V three-blade at 128,90 € (1.2 m rotor, MPPT controller, free shipping), as shown on the EU store on October 30, 2026, VAT included.
Will a 1000 W wind turbine give me 1000 W?
Only at its rated wind speed of 12 m/s (about 43 km/h). At 6 m/s, expect roughly one eighth of the rating (our arithmetic). Rotor size tells you more than the watt figure.
Is a mast included?
No. VEVOR’s titles say “Tower Pole Not Included” and VEVOR confirmed only small fixing parts are in the box.
Can I run appliances straight from the turbine?
No. VEVOR says the turbine can only connect to and charge a battery. To run 230 V appliances you also need an inverter; only the 600W kit includes one.
12 V or 24 V?
Match your battery bank. Seven turbines and both kits are 12 V; the 1200W and 1500W are 24 V; VEVOR has no 48 V turbines.
Do I need a dump load?
For the 800W 3-blade, VEVOR says no: the controller brakes the turbine once the battery is full.
