VEVOR Floor Jack Buying Guide (2026): 1.5 to 4 Ton, Steel vs Aluminium, Single vs Dual Piston, the 30 kg Shipping Line, Euro Prices

Affiliate disclosure: this post contains affiliate links to VEVOR’s European store (via Awin). If you buy through them, SiftGuide may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every price and spec below comes from VEVOR’s own product pages, spec lists, review summaries and store policies, checked on October 31, 2026. We have not tested these jacks; specs and claims are as listed by the seller. Figures marked “our arithmetic” are our own calculations from those listed numbers.

EU store, euro prices. All links go to eur.vevor.com, VEVOR’s European store. Prices are in euros, VAT included, exactly as the store showed them on October 31, 2026, with Romania as the delivery country (the store’s default for us that day). None of the sixteen prices was a timed deal. Nine pages showed free shipping; seven heavier jacks showed a 40,00 € shipping fee to Romania, because VEVOR charges a per-item fee on items of 30 kg and above for some countries (see the shipping section). Each page also advertised 5,00 € off orders of 99,00 € or more on your first three app orders. Prices and shipping can differ for your country and can change at any time.

November is tyre-swap month in much of Europe, and a proper trolley (floor) jack makes it a 20-minute job instead of a fight with the scissor jack from the boot. VEVOR’s EU store lists a long run of low-profile floor jacks, from a 1.5 ton steel jack in a plastic case to a 3 ton off-road jack with an extension post. We went through the 16 listings that were in stock on October 31, 2026, from 45,90 € to 401,99 €; two others (a 2.5 ton aluminium and a 4 ton steel jack) were out of stock. Four numbers decide which one you want: the lowest height (does it fit under your car), the highest height (does it get the wheel off the ground), the weight (can you carry it) and the shipping fee.

Safety first. A jack is for lifting, not for holding. Never put any part of your body under a car that is held up only by a jack: lower it onto rated jack stands first, on firm, level ground, with the handbrake on and the wheels on the other axle chocked. Use the lift points in your car’s handbook. VEVOR says the same on its own pages: “For extended support, use with jack stands” (1.5 ton VL-80015) and “Use jack stands for long-term support” (3 ton off-road jack). Only three of the 16 listings include any kind of stand or support rod.

Review scores are pooled. VEVOR groups many of these jacks into shared review pools: one pool of 4.5 out of 5 from 206 reviews (76% 5-star, 5% 1-star) appears on the 1.5 t and 3 t aluminium/steel, K500, K496 and 4 t pages; another of 4.2 from 122 reviews (67% 5-star, 11% 1-star) on seven others; and 3.7 from 44 reviews (50% 5-star, 18% 1-star) on the SUV-adapter and off-road jacks. The 1.5 t and 2.5 t pages even show a review tagged “Load Capacity: 4T”. So a star score tells you about the family, not the exact jack. Only the S385 (4.4 from 147) and the 3 t with support rod (5.0 from just 6) have their own numbers.

Lowest and highest height

The lowest height is whether the jack slides under your car at all. Measure the gap between the ground and your lift point (or the sill) with the tyre you are about to remove, at its lowest. The VL-80015, VL-80020 and QK20 start at 125–130 mm, which is fine for most family cars and SUVs but may not fit a lowered car or one with a flat tyre. Most of the dual-piston jacks start between 75 mm and 95 mm; a buyer in Spain wrote that the 85 mm S385 goes easily under a BMW M2.

The highest height is whether the wheel actually leaves the ground, plus room to slide a stand under. The small jacks top out at 310–380 mm; that is usually enough for a car, tighter for an SUV with long suspension travel. The bigger jacks reach 465–545 mm, and only the off-road STD01 goes higher: 590 mm, or 745 mm with its extension post, but it will not go under anything lower than 150 mm.

Single vs dual piston

A dual-piston (“dual pump”) jack moves more oil per stroke, so it reaches the car and lifts it in fewer pumps. It does not lift more weight. VEVOR’s claims vary by listing: the steel K500 and K496 “lift to the highest in full 7 strokes”, the aluminium 2 t and LD100A lift “most vehicles with just 3-1/2 pumps”, and the VL-80225 and ZX0801 reach “full height in just six pumps unloaded”, “4x faster than single-piston jacks”. One French buyer in the shared 122-review pool wrote that max height took 10 to 12 strokes, not the 6 in the description, while still recommending the jack. Treat pump counts as marketing; for one tyre swap twice a year a single-piston jack is fine, and for regular garage use the dual pump saves your arm.

Compare: 2 t vs 1.5 t aluminium/steel, dual piston

Steel vs aluminium, and the 30 kg line

Aluminium saves weight, which matters if the jack lives in a car boot or you carry it to the drive. VEVOR’s all-aluminium LD100A is the lightest 3 t jack here at 21.8 kg; the steel K500 weighs 33.1 kg and the 4 t steel jack 46.5 kg. Many “aluminium” jacks are actually aluminium and steel, so check the weight, not the word.

Weight also changes the price. VEVOR’s shipping policy adds a per-item fee for items of 30 kg and above in some countries: 10 € for Ireland and Portugal, 30 € for Finland and Croatia, 40 € for Romania. The aluminium/steel 3 t jack weighs 30.05 kg, just over the line, and its page showed 40,00 € shipping to Romania. The fee seems to follow VEVOR’s shipping weight rather than the listed net weight: the ZX0801 (28.36 kg net) showed it too, while the 26.3 kg VL-80225 did not. With Romania as the delivery country (our arithmetic):

3 t aluminium: Aluminium/steel 3 t, 90–500 mm

  • Net weight: 30.05 kg
  • Price: 248,90 €
  • Shipping shown: 40,00 €
  • Delivered to Romania: 288,90 €

3 t aluminium: LD100A all-aluminium 3 t, 93–465 mm

  • Net weight: 21.8 kg
  • Price: 313,90 €
  • Shipping shown: free
  • Delivered to Romania: 313,90 €

So in Romania the gap shrinks from 65,00 € to 25,00 €, for a jack 8.25 kg lighter (our arithmetic). To Ireland the policy fee would be 10 €, about 258,90 € delivered for the aluminium/steel jack; where no weight fee applies, the cheaper one stays 65,00 € cheaper. Check the basket for your country before deciding.

Read the listing twice

  • The K496’s title and spec disagree. Its title says “Lifting Range 3.64"-19.49"”, its spec table and feature text say a 75 mm (3") minimum, the same as the K500. The K500’s own title says 3.35"–19.69" against 75–495 mm in its spec. If the lowest height is critical for your car, ask VEVOR before you buy.
  • The same page sells other variants. The K500 page also offers a single-cylinder version at 211,90 €, and the support-rod page a single-cylinder version at 248,99 €. Make sure the option you pick in the basket is the one you meant; the prices in this guide are for the dual-piston options shown above.
  • Dimensions with the handle. Some spec tables list the jack with its handle fitted or packed, for example 1306 x 340 x 670 mm for the ZX0801 and 540 x 255 x 1100 mm for the 2 t aluminium jack, while others list the body only. Compare weights and lift ranges, not box sizes.
  • Capacity is per jack, at one point. A 2 t jack lifting one corner or one end of a car is not lifting the whole car, but buy headroom anyway: the K500 3 t costs less than the K496 2.5 t, so there is no saving in going smaller there.

Who each one is for

  • VEVOR VL-80020 2 t with 2 jack stands (76,90 €): for a first set for twice-a-year wheel swaps: the only listing here with two jack stands included, 31,00 € more than the 1.5 t jack alone (our arithmetic). Skip it if your car sits lower than about 130 mm at the lift point.
  • VEVOR S385 2.5 t steel (71,90 €): for a cheap, low (85 mm) steel jack with a reasonable 380 mm top and its own 4.4 from 147 reviews. Skip it if you lift SUVs or want fewer pump strokes.
  • VEVOR VL-80015 1.5 t in a case (45,90 €): for a jack that lives in the boot: 6.5 kg in a plastic case. Skip it if you need more than 310 mm of lift or more than 1.5 t.
  • VEVOR 2 t aluminium/steel dual piston (118,90 €): for a light (16.3 kg) dual-pump jack for cars; 5,00 € cheaper than the 1.5 t version with a similar range. Skip it if you need SUV height; it stops at 370 mm.

  • VEVOR 3 t steel with support rod (279,99 €): for a jack with a built-in telescopic support rod (295–470 mm, 8 settings); 53,09 € more than the K500 (our arithmetic). Skip it if you already own jack stands.
  • VEVOR 4 t steel (346,90 €): for heavy SUVs and vans, 100–545 mm. Skip it if you need to move it: 46.5 kg.
  • VEVOR STD01 3 t off-road with extension post (401,99 €): for lifted 4x4s and pickups on gravel: 150–590 mm, 745 mm with the post, big casters. Skip it if you also work on normal cars; 150 mm will not fit under most.
  • VEVOR ZX0801 2 t steel dual piston (180,90 €): for a low 75 mm start with a high 505 mm top for cars. Skip it if you are fine with 3 t: the K500 costs 46,00 € more for 1 t more capacity.

  • VEVOR 2.5 t steel with SUV adapters and case (71,99 €): for SUVs with pinch-weld lift points: two grooved rubber adapters, gloves and a case. Skip it if you need more than 350 mm of lift.
  • VEVOR K496 2.5 t steel (231,90 €): for only if the 3 t K500 is out of stock. Skip it if the K500 is in stock: it is cheaper.
  • VEVOR 1.5 t aluminium/steel (123,90 €): for only if the 2 t version is out of stock. Skip it if the 2 t version is in stock: it is cheaper.

Shipping, returns and warranty

  • Shipping: VEVOR’s EU shipping policy says “All products are currently free shipping, except in some remote areas”, then lists per-item fees for items of 30 kg and above (10 € Ireland and Portugal, 30 € Finland and Croatia, 40 € Romania) and per-order fees for some countries (for example 20 € for Greece). On October 31, 2026 seven of the 16 jacks showed 40,00 € to Romania. Check the fee for your country in the basket.
  • Returns and warranty: “All our products come with a 12-months warranty and can be returned for free within 30 days of delivery for approved reasons!” Before the first lift, check the jack for oil leaks and pump it up and down a few times without a load.

FAQ

Which VEVOR floor jack is cheapest?
The VL-80015 1.5 t steel jack at 45,90 €. The cheapest 2.5 t is the S385 at 71,90 €, and the cheapest 3 t here is the K500 at 226,90 €. Prices as shown on the EU store on October 31, 2026, VAT included.

What capacity do I need for a car?
The jack lifts one corner or one end, not the whole car, so a 2 t jack covers most cars. Buy more if you lift SUVs or vans, and note that on VEVOR’s store the 3 t K500 costs less than the 2.5 t K496.

Do I still need jack stands?
Yes, if any part of you goes under the car. VEVOR’s own pages say to use jack stands for extended or long-term support. Only the VL-80020 (two stands) and the 3 t support-rod jack include support.

Is aluminium better than steel?
Lighter, not stronger. The all-aluminium LD100A 3 t weighs 21.8 kg against 33.1 kg for the steel K500. Lighter jacks are easier to carry and can avoid VEVOR’s 30 kg shipping fee in some countries.

Why does one jack show a 40 € shipping fee?
VEVOR charges a per-item fee for items of 30 kg and above in some countries; 40 € for Romania, 10 € for Ireland and Portugal, 30 € for Finland and Croatia, per its shipping policy on October 31, 2026.
