EU store, euro prices. All links go to eur.vevor.com, VEVOR’s European store. Prices are in euros, VAT included, exactly as the store showed them on November 1, 2026 (captured 14:28–14:30 Romanian time), with Romania as the delivery country (the store’s default for us that day). All 9 pages showed free shipping and “In Stock”, with no timed deal running. Prices and stock change; the store’s basket has the final word.
An electric heater turns every watt it draws into heat, so the real question is not “which is most efficient” but where the heat goes. VEVOR’s EU store sells two very different kinds: infrared heaters that warm the people and surfaces they point at (patios, porches, open garages) and PTC fan heaters that blow warm air around a closed space (greenhouses, grow tents, workshops). We compared the 9 that were in stock on November 1, 2026, from 33,90 € to 114,99 €, checked their IP ratings and power steps, and flagged one heater sold at two prices.
Safety first. These heaters draw 2,000–3,000 W. At 230 V that is about 8.7–13 A (our arithmetic), so plug them straight into a sound wall socket, not into a coiled extension reel or a multi-plug strip. Outdoors, use a weather-protected socket with an RCD. The PTC fan heaters are rated only IP20 (no water protection), so keep them away from sprinklers and spray. Keep curtains, plants, cushions and anything flammable well clear of the front of any heater, and never cover one.

Ratings on VEVOR’s pages are shared across a group of listings, not per model: the three greenhouse fan heaters all show 4.1 stars from 150 reviews, and the six infrared heaters all show 4.2 from 154. Four of the infrared heaters (the floor, tripod, 2,500 W wall and WiFi models) are marked “New”.

Infrared or fan heater?
- Infrared (patio) heaters glow and warm what they face, like the sun does, so they still work where the air keeps moving: a terrace, a porch, an open garage door. They feel warm within seconds but do little for the air in a big room. VEVOR sells them as wall, ceiling, pole and tripod heaters.
- PTC fan heaters blow air over a heated ceramic element and warm the whole volume of a closed space. That suits a greenhouse, grow tent, shed or workshop, where you want the air and the plants kept above a set point. VEVOR markets all three here as greenhouse heaters. They are pointless outdoors, where the warm air just blows away.
A rule of thumb: if there is a roof and four walls, a fan heater; if people are sitting in the open, infrared.
What the IP ratings mean
The second digit of an IP code is protection against water. VEVOR lists:
- IP20 (BGP1506-02-2): no water protection at all, despite the greenhouse marketing. Keep it dry and away from watering.
- IPX4 (BG-E2A-01): splashes from any direction. The safer fan heater for a damp greenhouse.
- IP34 (SHL-2000BR hanging heater): splashes, for a covered patio.
- IP55 (JHGI-3000LR, named in the title): low-pressure water jets.
- IP65 (T17-GR30B): dust-tight and jet-proof, the toughest rating here for an exposed outside wall.
- The BGP1606-02 fan heater and the JHS-2500R/RS and PNH-2000DI infrared heaters list no IP rating, so treat them as for covered, dry spots only.
PTC fan heaters for greenhouses and tents (33,90–56,99 €)
- BGP1506-02-2 (33,90 €): the cheapest heater here. 2,000 W with three positions (cold air, 1,000 W, 2,000 W), an 18 W fan moving 185 m³/h, overheat protection, ETL certification and a 165 mm outlet, in a 210×160×220 mm body weighing 1.43 kg. VEVOR says the cord is about 1.8 m. Note: asked what happens after a power cut, VEVOR answered “It needs to be manually restarted and reset after power failure” (Nov 2024). That matters if a winter outage could leave a greenhouse unheated overnight.
- BGP1606-02 (35,99 €): same body size, 2,000 W, low and high heat plus fan, a 15° tilt, 2.9 m/s and 1.63 kg. Contradiction: the spec list says 186 m³/h, but the option selector on the same page labels it 238 m³/h. It lists no IP rating. For 2,09 € more than the BGP1506-02-2 (our arithmetic), there is little reason to choose it unless you prefer the tilt stand.
- BG-E2A-01 (56,99 €): the bigger, splash-rated one. IPX4, 2,000 W, 259 m³/h at 3 m/s, 25° tilt, 270×220×325 mm, 3.2 kg. VEVOR lists its element as an “Electric Heating Tube”, not PTC. Asked whether the digital thermostat is included, VEVOR answered: “No, the digital thermostat is not included” (Oct 28, 2026), so budget for a plug-in thermostat if you want the greenhouse held at a set temperature.

Infrared heaters for patios and porches (76,99–114,99 €)
- PNH-2000DI floor-standing (76,99 €): the cheapest infrared heater. Quartz tube, 650 / 1,300 / 2,000 W by pull chain (no remote), height 1.8–2.1 m, 8 kg of enamelled cold-rolled steel. Asked if it can be used indoors, VEVOR answered “Yes, it can be used indoors” (Sep 23, 2026).
- JHS-2500R wall-mounted (80,99 €): carbon filament, 850 / 1,650 / 2,500 W, remote plus panel buttons, 24 h timer, 866×88×186 mm, 2.8 kg.
- SHL-2000BR hanging (96,90 €): a ceiling heater for a pergola or covered terrace. Halogen tube, three settings from 800 to 2,000 W, remote, a built-in LED light, IP34, 440×440×220 mm, 3.15 kg, hung by an adjustable chain with a pull cord.
- T17-GR30B wall-mounted (99,90 €): the most adjustable and the best protected. Nine steps of 333 W up to 3,000 W (VEVOR confirmed the step size in an answer), IP65, LED display with a 24 h timer, remote, 1,020 mm long and 2.5 kg. VEVOR says it “can be plugged in into normal socket” and that the screen is touch-adjustable if the remote is lost.
- JHGI-3000LR wall-mounted (107,99 €): the smart one. Halogen tubes, 1,000 / 2,000 / 3,000 W, Tuya app over WiFi plus a remote (batteries not included) and a mechanical switch, anodised aluminium, 1,132 mm long, 4.1 kg, IP55 in the title.
- JHS-2500RS on tripod (114,99 €): see the next section.

Same heater, two prices
The JHS-2500R wall heater (80,99 €) and the JHS-2500RS tripod heater (114,99 €) are sold on the same page. They list the same 2,500 W, the same 850 / 1,650 / 2,500 W steps, the same remote and panel control, the same 24 h timer and the same 866 mm heat-resistant PP body. The tripod version is 34,00 € more (our arithmetic) and adds a 1.22–1.8 m stand (4.9 kg in total vs 2.8 kg). If you have a wall to mount it on, the wall version is the better buy; take the tripod only if you need to move it around.

Power and running cost
Watts ÷ 1,000 = kWh per hour of use; multiply by your own electricity price. As an example at 0,25 € per kWh (use your own tariff):
- 2,000 W fan or infrared heater for 3 hours: 6 kWh, about 1,50 €.
- 2,500 W JHS-2500R/RS on full for 3 hours: 7.5 kWh, about 1,88 €.
- T17-GR30B on its lowest 333 W step for 3 hours: about 1 kWh, about 0,25 €.
All figures are our arithmetic from VEVOR’s listed wattages. Heaters with more power steps (the nine-step T17-GR30B, or the 650 W low setting on the PNH-2000DI) let you run cheaper on mild evenings. A fan heater with a thermostat cycles on and off, so it uses less than its full rating over a night.
Who each one is for
- VEVOR BGP1506-02-2 fan heater (33,90 €): for a dry grow tent, shed or workshop on a tight budget. Skip it if it must restart by itself after a power cut, or the space is damp.
- VEVOR BG-E2A-01 fan heater (56,99 €): for a damp greenhouse, with an IPX4 rating and the most airflow here. Skip it if you expect a built-in thermostat; it is not included.
- VEVOR T17-GR30B infrared (99,90 €): for an exposed outside wall, with IP65 and nine power steps. Skip it if you need it free-standing.
- VEVOR SHL-2000BR hanging infrared (96,90 €): for a pergola or covered terrace table. Skip it if your patio has no roof or beam to hang it from.
- VEVOR PNH-2000DI floor infrared (76,99 €): for the cheapest movable patio heat. Skip it if you want a remote; it is pull-chain only.

FAQ
Which VEVOR electric heater is cheapest?
The BGP1506-02-2 PTC fan heater at 33,90 €. The cheapest infrared heater is the PNH-2000DI floor-standing model at 76,99 €. Prices as shown on the EU store on November 1, 2026, VAT included.
Is an infrared heater or a fan heater better for a greenhouse?
A fan heater. It warms and moves the air in the closed space around the plants. Infrared heaters warm what they face and suit open patios and porches. For a damp greenhouse, choose the IPX4 BG-E2A-01 over the IP20 models.
Can I plug a 3000 W heater into a normal socket?
VEVOR says the T17-GR30B “can be plugged in into normal socket”. At 230 V, 3,000 W is about 13 A (our arithmetic), so use a sound wall socket on its own, not an extension reel, and an RCD-protected weatherproof socket outdoors.
Which VEVOR patio heater can stay outside on a wall?
The T17-GR30B is rated IP65, the highest here, and the WiFi JHGI-3000LR names IP55 in its title. The hanging SHL-2000BR is IP34, for covered spots. The JHS-2500R lists no IP rating.
Does the cheap PTC greenhouse heater restart after a power cut?
No. VEVOR answered that the BGP1506-02-2 “needs to be manually restarted and reset after power failure”.
