EasyBrise Review (2026): What a US LLC Really Costs a Non-US Founder in Year 1 and Year 2, Wyoming vs Delaware

Affiliate disclosure: this post contains affiliate links to EasyBrise (via Awin). If you buy through them, SiftGuide may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We have not used EasyBrise to form a company. Every EasyBrise price and feature below comes from its own website, read on November 4, 2026 and re-checked right before publishing; state and IRS figures come from the official sources linked at the end. Figures marked “our arithmetic” are our own sums of those listed numbers. This is not legal or tax advice.

Prices in US dollars. EasyBrise sells in USD and so do US states and the IRS, so this guide quotes dollars exactly as shown. Your card may add a currency conversion fee on top.

EasyBrise is a US company-formation service aimed at founders who live outside the US: it files a Wyoming or Delaware LLC (or a C-Corp), gets the EIN (the federal tax ID) from the IRS without a US Social Security number, and acts as your registered agent for the first year. Its entry plan, Global Launch, costs $295 plus the state filing fee. The headline price is the easy part. The real question for a non-US founder is what the company costs after year 1, when the free registered agent ends, the state wants its annual report or tax, and the IRS expects a Form 5472 every year even if the LLC made nothing. We went through EasyBrise’s pricing page, its service pages, FAQ and refund policy on November 4, 2026, added the official state and IRS numbers, and did the sums.

Short answer (our arithmetic): Wyoming through EasyBrise costs about $399 in year 1 ($295 + the $104 state fee EasyBrise lists) and at least $209 in year 2 if you renew only the registered agent at $149 and file the $60 Wyoming annual report yourself. Delaware costs $438 to form ($295 + $143) plus a flat $400 state tax for every calendar year the LLC exists, starting with the year you form it. For a one-person LLC with no US office, Wyoming is the cheaper state to keep.

Before you form a US company: a US LLC does not remove your home-country tax obligations. If you live in the EU, the UK or elsewhere, the profit of a single-member LLC is usually still taxable where you live, and some countries treat it as a foreign company with extra reporting. Talk to an accountant in your own country first. EasyBrise itself says it is “not a law firm”.

The three EasyBrise plans

EasyBrise pricing page: Global Launch 295 dollars plus state fee, Tax and Compliance Pro 1,499 dollars a year, Elite 2,499 dollars a year (screenshot, Nov 4, 2026)
EasyBrise’s three plans as shown on easybrise.com/pricing on November 4, 2026 (screenshot).
  • Global Launch: $295 one time + state fee. LLC or C-Corp formation, EIN from the IRS, operating agreement (or bylaws), digital copies of the documents, US bank-account opening guidance (self-serve), first year of registered agent, first year of virtual mailing/business address, US phone number setup guidance, a lifetime document vault and standard email support.
  • Tax & Compliance Pro: $1,499 a year. “Everything in Global Launch, plus” the yearly federal filings a foreign-owned single-member LLC needs (Form 5472 and the pro forma 1120), a tax extension if required, the state annual report filing, compliance alerts and dashboard, IRS notice review, an annual CPA consultation and tax planning session, a dedicated compliance manager and a Stripe setup checklist. EasyBrise labels it “Best for: Foreign-Owned Single-Member LLCs”.
  • Tax & Compliance Elite: $2,499 a year. Adds the returns for multi-member LLCs (Form 1065, K-1s) and C-Corps (Form 1120), state tax returns, 1099 support, quarterly CPA reviews and multi-state support. For partnerships and corporations, not for a typical one-person LLC.

Extras listed on the same page: registered agent $149 a year, virtual address $35 a month or $315 a year, annual report filing $149 + state fee per state, annual compliance monitoring $199 a year, EIN priority processing $99, priority formation $199, company dissolution $199, and bookkeeping from $99 to $399 a month.

State fees: what EasyBrise lists vs what the states charge

State: Wyoming

  • EasyBrise lists: $104
  • Official fee: $100 articles of organization fee (online filing may add a small card fee)
  • Every year after: Annual report license tax, minimum $60, due on the first day of your formation month

State: Delaware

  • EasyBrise lists: $142 or $143 (both appear)
  • Official fee: $110 certificate of formation (fee schedule from August 1, 2026)
  • Every year after: Flat annual LLC tax, $400 from tax year 2026, due June 1 of the next year

EasyBrise’s pricing FAQ says state fees are “billed at cost” and its refund policy says it does “not mark up” government fees, yet the listed amounts sit a few dollars (Wyoming) to over $30 (Delaware) above the base state fees. The difference may be card processing or a certified copy, but the site does not say. Ask EasyBrise for the line-by-line state charge before you pay. The Delaware tax is the big one: it is not prorated, so an LLC formed in November 2026 owes the full $400 for 2026, due June 1, 2027, with a $200 penalty plus 1.5% interest a month if it is late (see the Delaware LLC tax instructions).

Year 1 cost, Wyoming vs Delaware (our arithmetic)

Chart: EasyBrise Global Launch total cost in year 1 and year 2, Wyoming vs Delaware, SiftGuide arithmetic
Our arithmetic from EasyBrise’s listed prices and the official state fees, November 4, 2026. Year 2 assumes you renew only the registered agent and file the state report yourself.

Year 1, Global Launch: EasyBrise plan

  • Wyoming LLC: $295
  • Delaware LLC: $295

Year 1, Global Launch: State fee (as EasyBrise lists it)

  • Wyoming LLC: $104
  • Delaware LLC: $143

Year 1, Global Launch: Paid at checkout

  • Wyoming LLC: $399
  • Delaware LLC: $438

Year 1, Global Launch: State tax for the formation year

  • Wyoming LLC: none (first annual report falls in year 2)
  • Delaware LLC: $400, due June 1 of the next year

Year 1, Global Launch: Total for the first year’s obligations

  • Wyoming LLC: $399
  • Delaware LLC: $838

Registered agent and the virtual address are included for the first year in Global Launch, so year 1 has no other EasyBrise charges unless you add extras. What year 1 does not cover is the IRS Form 5472 for that tax year (see below), which is due the following April.

Year 2 and later: what you keep paying

Every year from year 2: Registered agent (required by law)

  • Minimum (Wyoming): $149
  • Everything through EasyBrise (Wyoming): $149

Every year from year 2: State annual report

  • Minimum (Wyoming): $60 (you file it)
  • Everything through EasyBrise (Wyoming): $149 + $60

Every year from year 2: Virtual US address

  • Minimum (Wyoming): not needed
  • Everything through EasyBrise (Wyoming): $315

Every year from year 2: Total (our arithmetic)

  • Minimum (Wyoming): $209
  • Everything through EasyBrise (Wyoming): $673

For Delaware, replace the $60 report with the $400 annual tax: $549 a year minimum ($149 + $400, our arithmetic). Neither total includes the federal filing, which you either do yourself, pay an accountant for, or buy through the $1,499 Pro plan. If you are going to buy Pro anyway, check with EasyBrise whether the registered agent renewal is included in it; the plan says “Everything in Global Launch” but does not spell out year-2 registered agent.

The IRS filing every foreign-owned LLC needs

A single-member LLC owned by a non-US person must file Form 5472 attached to a pro forma Form 1120 every year, even with zero revenue, due April 15 for calendar-year companies (an extension is possible). The penalty for not filing is $25,000 per form (see the IRS Form 5472 instructions). This is the filing EasyBrise’s Pro plan is built around. It is not included in Global Launch. Some founders file it themselves; most pay an accountant, so budget for it either way.

BOI report: since FinCEN’s final rule took effect on August 14, 2026, US-formed LLCs no longer file a beneficial ownership report (EasyBrise’s BOI page says the same; see the FinCEN BOI page). Be wary of any provider still selling a BOI filing for a new US LLC.

Fine print: contradictions we found on the site

  • Registered agent renewal: $149 or $49? The pricing and registered agent pages say $149 a year; the LLC formation page carries a note that it “renews at $49/year after the first year”. Get the renewal price in writing.
  • Starting price: $149 or $295? The FAQ says formation packages “start at $149”; the pricing page starts at $295. We found no $149 package on sale.
  • Delaware fee: $142 or $143? Both appear on the pricing page; the state’s own fee is $110.
  • Virtual address: Global Launch lists a first-year virtual address, but EasyBrise’s own comparison table says “Included (Pro+)”. Ask which one applies before relying on it for a bank application.
  • Track record: we found few independent reviews of EasyBrise, and the competitor prices in its comparison table are EasyBrise’s own claims.

Refunds

Per its refund policy, EasyBrise service fees can be refunded within 7 days of purchase if work has not begun; partial refunds may apply if you cancel after work starts but before state submission; nothing is refunded after the documents go to the state. State fees are non-refundable once submitted, and a first-year registered agent included with formation is non-refundable. Annual subscriptions can be cancelled any time but unused months are not refunded.

EasyBrise vs Stripe Atlas, Doola and Firstbase

EasyBrise own comparison table versus Stripe Atlas, Doola and Firstbase (screenshot of easybrise.com/pricing, Nov 4, 2026)
EasyBrise’s own comparison table (screenshot, November 4, 2026). Competitor prices and features are EasyBrise’s claims; check each provider directly.

EasyBrise’s table puts Stripe Atlas at “$500 flat”, Doola at “$297 + State Fees” and Firstbase at “$399 + State Fees”, against its own “$295 + State Fees”. On those numbers EasyBrise’s entry price is roughly level with Doola and below the other two; the differences that matter more are what each one charges from year 2 and whether the federal Form 5472 filing is included. EasyBrise also lists WhatsApp support, which matters if you prefer chat to email.

Who EasyBrise is for

  • Good fit: a non-US solo founder who wants a Wyoming LLC, an EIN without an SSN and a first-year registered agent for $399 all in, and is comfortable handling (or paying an accountant for) the yearly Form 5472.
  • Consider Pro: if you want one provider to file the 5472/1120 and the state report every year and you value the CPA consultation; at $1,499 a year it costs more than many accountants charge for the same filing, so compare quotes.
  • Skip Delaware unless you plan to raise venture money as a C-Corp: for a one-person LLC the $400 yearly tax buys you nothing Wyoming does not give for $60.

FAQ

How much does EasyBrise cost for a Wyoming LLC?
$295 for Global Launch plus the $104 state fee EasyBrise lists, so $399 at checkout (our arithmetic). From year 2 the registered agent is $149 a year and Wyoming’s annual report starts at $60.

Do I need a US Social Security number?
No. EasyBrise says it files the EIN directly with the IRS for non-US founders without an SSN; the IRS also lets foreign owners apply (see the IRS EIN page).

Is the registered agent free?
Only for the first year with formation. After that EasyBrise lists $149 a year (one page says $49; confirm before buying). A registered agent is required for as long as the LLC exists.

Do I still need to file a BOI report?
Not for a US-formed LLC: FinCEN’s final rule exempted domestic companies from August 14, 2026.

Does a US LLC mean I pay no tax?
No. A foreign-owned single-member LLC still files Form 5472 with the IRS every year, and you usually owe tax on its profit in your country of residence. Ask a local accountant.

Can I get a refund?
Within 7 days of purchase, if EasyBrise has not started work. Nothing is refundable once documents are submitted to the state.
