Prices checked on the official EdrawMax pricing pages on October 25, 2026 (US dollars shown, before any local taxes). Wondershare changes prices and promotions often, so the price on the checkout page is the one that counts. This post contains affiliate links: if you buy through them, SiftGuide may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We have not lab-tested EdrawMax; plans, limits and terms below come from the official pricing pages, their FAQ and the Wondershare refund policy.
Short answer: EdrawMax costs US$69 for six months, US$99 a year, or US$198 once (Perpetual, desktop version 16). The Perpetual price is exactly two years of the Annual plan (our arithmetic), so it only pays off if you keep using version 16 for more than two years. If you also want mind maps, the 2-in-1 bundle adds EdrawMind for US$17 more (US$215), and the 3-in-1 adds the EdrawProj Gantt tool too (US$245). Every plan card also has an “EdrawMax AI Assets” checkbox: a 7-day free trial that then renews at US$15.9 a month. It was unticked when we checked, so leave it alone unless you want it.

Semi-Annual vs Annual vs Perpetual (our arithmetic)
If you use EdrawMax for: 6 months
- Semi-Annual: US$69
- Annual: US$99
- Perpetual: US$198
If you use EdrawMax for: 1 year
- Semi-Annual: US$138 (2 terms)
- Annual: US$99
- Perpetual: US$198
If you use EdrawMax for: 2 years
- Semi-Annual: US$276 (4 terms)
- Annual: US$198
- Perpetual: US$198
If you use EdrawMax for: 3 years
- Semi-Annual: US$414 (6 terms)
- Annual: US$297
- Perpetual: US$198 (desktop; mobile and online end after 3 years)
All totals are our arithmetic from the listed prices, assuming the renewal price stays the same (the store does not promise that). Three things follow:
- Semi-Annual only makes sense for one short project. Two six-month terms cost US$138, which is US$39 more than one Annual plan.
- Perpetual breaks even at exactly two years. US$198 once equals two Annual payments. From year three, Perpetual is ahead by US$99 a year on the desktop app.
- Perpetual is tied to version 16. The pricing page says: “You own the software forever and have free minor updates within EdrawMax V16 (Desktop). You might need to pay for major updates.” The FAQ adds that perpetual plans are “one-time payment for a major version of the software.” Mobile and online access with Perpetual lasts 3 years, and so does the 10GB of cloud storage.
Already on a subscription and thinking of switching? The FAQ answers: “Yes, you can upgrade at any time you wish. However, it is NOT possible to deduct your subscription payment from the price of the perpetual plan.” If you think you will end up on Perpetual, buying it first is cheaper than paying a year of Annual and then switching.
The 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 bundles
The third card is a one-time bundle. The 2-in-1 (US$215) adds EdrawMind V14, Wondershare’s desktop mind-mapping app, to EdrawMax V16. The 3-in-1 (US$245) adds EdrawProj, “a Gantt chart maker to schedule, manage, and track your projects.” Both bundles get 20GB of cloud storage for 3 years instead of 10GB.
Our arithmetic: compared with EdrawMax Perpetual alone (US$198), the 2-in-1 costs US$17 more and the 3-in-1 US$47 more. If you would use EdrawMind at all, the 2-in-1 is the cheapest way to get it on a one-time licence. EdrawMind also has its own plans page, and our EdrawMind mind-map tutorial shows what it does.

About the badges: “13% OFF”, “17% OFF”, “19% OFF”, “45% OFF” and “54% OFF” match the gap between each price and its crossed-out price (our check). The crossed-out Annual price, US$119, is also what the Team plan charges per user (see below). So treat the discounts as a normal store price rather than a countdown deal.
The AI Assets add-on and AI tokens
Under every price there is a checkbox: “Try EdrawMax AI Assets 7 days for free, then auto-renew at US$ 15.9 /month(20% off). Cancel any time.” On October 25, 2026 all of these boxes were unticked when the page loaded. If you tick it and forget to cancel, it adds up to US$190.80 a year (our arithmetic: 12 × US$15.9).
What it adds, per the comparison table: more community templates (15K including 5K “Enhanced Templates”, against 10K on the free version) and “Unlimited Tokens” for EdrawMax AI features. Without it, each plan comes with 500 AI tokens; the page says “This plan provides a fixed allocation of 500 AI tokens. Additional AI tokens can be purchased for enhanced AI features.” If you only draw flowcharts, floor plans or network diagrams by hand, you do not need the add-on. The FAQ also says you can buy AI Assets later without a premium plan, “but we strongly recommend you buy them together to enjoy the biggest discount.”

Student and team prices
Plan: Student Six-Month
- Price: US$62
- Notes: Was US$68; Student Beans verification
Plan: Student One-Year
- Price: US$85
- Notes: Was US$99; US$14 less than the regular Annual plan (our arithmetic)
Plan: Student Two-Year
- Price: US$139
- Notes: Was US$198; US$59 less than two regular Annual plans (our arithmetic)
Plan: Team Annual
- Price: US$119 per user
- Notes: “US$9.92 per user per month, billed annually”; 5 users US$595
Plan: Team Perpetual
- Price: US$219 per user
- Notes: EdrawMax V16; 5 users US$1,095; a quote form for more than 10 users
Two notes. The student page says: “Student discounts are for individual use only and cannot be used commercially.” And the Team plans cost US$20 more per user per year than the individual Annual plan, and US$21 more for Perpetual (our arithmetic). Teams pay for central licence management. A freelancer working alone can buy an individual plan; for commercial use, the FAQ points to the Edrawsoft User License Agreement (“The commercial use issue is complicated”), so read it first.
Refunds, renewals and cancelling
The store says: “We promise up to a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Refunds will be approved under the accepted circumstances.” The Wondershare refund policy gives most products bought directly from Wondershare a window of up to 30 days from the initial payment. EdrawMax is not on its shorter 7-day list (MobileTrans, Dr.Fone, Recoverit, Repairit, Relumi and Media.io). The policy also says:
- Requests based solely on change of mind are generally not eligible.
- A renewal order is not refundable if the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal charge. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- EU residents may have a 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to legal exceptions.
To cancel, the FAQ says to sign in to the Wondershare Account Center and choose “Plan & Product – Manage Subscription”, then “Cancel Subscription”. Your work is not lost: “the files you’ve made are still accessible”, but the account drops back to the free limits above.
Things to check before you buy
- The AI Assets checkbox. It is on all three cards. Leave it unticked unless you want a US$15.9/month subscription after 7 days.
- Currency. The store may open in your local currency. Use the currency switch to the right of the Individuals / Team & Business / Education tabs.
- Perpetual = version 16. Major upgrades may cost extra, and phone and online access end after 3 years.
- Older prices elsewhere. Affiliate feeds and older reviews (including some SiftGuide posts) list EdrawMax “licences” with different names and prices. On October 25, 2026 the official store showed the five prices above.
- Pop-up offers. The pricing page code includes an “Extra 10% OFF” pop-up “valid for 24 hours only”. We did not see it applied, so all prices here are without it.

Can I get a refund?
The store promises up to a 30-day money-back guarantee under accepted circumstances. Change of mind is generally not eligible, renewals are not refundable if not cancelled in time, and EU residents may have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
