VEVOR Firewood Racks Buying Guide (2026): 1.2–3.8 m Log Racks, Covers, Roofed Sheds and a Log Cart, What the “Cord” Labels Really Mean

Affiliate disclosure: this post contains affiliate links to VEVOR’s European store (via Awin). If you buy through them, SiftGuide may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every price and spec below comes from VEVOR’s own product pages, spec lists, review summaries and store policies, checked on October 31, 2026. We have not tested these racks; specs and claims are as listed by the seller. Figures marked “our arithmetic” are our own calculations from those listed numbers.

EU store, euro prices. All links go to eur.vevor.com, VEVOR’s European store. Prices are in euros, VAT included, exactly as the store showed them on October 31, 2026 (captured 18:33–18:37 Romanian time and re-checked at 18:48), with Romania as the delivery country (the store’s default for us that day). All thirteen pages showed free shipping and “In Stock”. One price was a timed deal: the 1.85 m roofed shed at 234,90 € instead of 305,90 €, “Deal ends Nov. 18”. Prices and stock change; the store’s basket has the final word.

Firewood burns best when it is dry, and it stays dry when it is off the ground, has air around it and is covered on top. A steel rack does all three for little money. VEVOR’s EU store had thirteen relevant listings in stock on October 31, 2026, from 42,99 € to 234,90 €: open racks, racks with fabric covers, two sheds with a clear polycarbonate roof, and a two-wheel log cart. We compared them on how much wood they really hold, the rated load, what the cover protects, and price per cubic metre. One thing to know up front: most of the “cord” labels in the titles do not add up, and some titles contradict their own spec lists. Details below.

Safety first. Keep stacked wood a safe distance from stoves, chimneys and open fires, and follow local fire rules for storing fuel next to the house. Stack heavy logs low and level, and never let children climb on a loaded rack; a tall rack full of wood can tip if the ground is soft or the load is uneven. VEVOR’s load ratings assume an evenly loaded rack.

* Our arithmetic: length × depth × height of the whole frame, from VEVOR’s listed product dimensions, and price divided by that volume. The wood you can actually stack is less, because of the feet, the base rails and the space under a cover. Plus the FC1359 log cart at 64,90 €.

All twelve racks share one review pool on VEVOR’s pages (4.7 stars from 247 reviews, 79% five-star), so that rating is not per model. The cart has its own: 4.5 stars from 114.

What “1/2 cord” means here (and why it does not add up)

A cord is a North American measure of stacked firewood: 4 ft × 4 ft × 8 ft, or 128 cubic feet, which is about 3.62 m³ (our arithmetic). Half a cord is about 1.81 m³ and a quarter cord about 0.91 m³. Now compare that with the racks’ own outer dimensions:

  • The 2.4 m racks labelled “1/2 cord” measure 2570×360×1170 mm, a box of about 1,08 m³. Even filled to the last centimetre, the frame cannot hold half a cord. VEVOR’s own storage figure, 8 ft × 4 ft × 13.8 in, works out to about 0.29 of a cord (our arithmetic).
  • The KD-SKU-003 (“1/2 cord”) lists 904.04 L of storage, about 0.25 of a cord. The 1.2 m racks labelled “1/4 cord” have a frame of about 0,46 m³, roughly half of a real quarter cord.
  • The 3.8 m CJODB012FT says “3/4 Cord” in its title but “1/2 cord” in its spec list; its frame is about 1,61 m³, so neither is possible. The 1.85 m roofed shed says “1/4 Cord” in its title and “3/8 cord” in its spec list.
  • One figure is even bigger than its own box: the 1220×320×1185 mm KD-SKU-001 lists 591.8 L of storage, while its outer frame is about 463 L (our arithmetic).

The labels that are physically possible are on the deep racks: the 715 mm deep KD-SKU-011EU and 012EU (“3/8 cord”, 1962.6 L, about 0.54 of a cord) and the two 700 mm deep roofed sheds. Sellers and buyers often use “cord” loosely for a single 4 ft × 8 ft row of logs, whatever the log length, which may be what these titles mean. A Canadian buyer of the 2.4 m rack wrote “It fits a half cord like it says!”. Our advice: ignore the cord label and compare length × depth × height, as in the table above.

Check your log length too. The 1.2, 2.4 and 3.8 m racks are only 320–360 mm deep. A reviewer of the 2.4 m version put it this way: “just ensure you have logs that are sufficiently long, at least for the first layer at the bottom”. If your logs are 25 cm, the bottom layer may not bridge the base rails; if they are 50 cm, they will stick out of a shallow rack and its cover. The 700–715 mm deep racks take two rows of short logs or one row of long ones.

2.4 and 3.8 m racks with covers

The CJODB08FT (81,90 €) and the CJODB012FT (94,90 €) are the same design in two lengths: 25 mm round Q195 steel tubes, a 600D Oxford fabric half cover with “a PU waterproof coating and UV protection”, and a frame that keeps the logs 140 mm off the ground. Both are rated 299.4 kg. The covers close with loop-and-hook fasteners and a zippered front flap. The CJODB88FT (84,90 €) is the 2.57 m version with a full cover, 3,00 € more than the half-cover one (our arithmetic); its spec list gives the length as “10.12 in”, an obvious typo for the 2570 mm next to it.

The 3.8 m rack is the best value per cubic metre among the covered racks: about 59 €/m³ of frame against 76 € for the 2.4 m (our arithmetic), for only 13,00 € more. Keep in mind that the load rating stays the same 299.4 kg on the longer frame; dense hardwood stacked 3.8 m long and over a metre high can weigh more than that, so stack it evenly and do not overload it.

CJODB012FT: 3830 mm long, 299.4 kg rated, half cover, 94,90 € (official VEVOR image).

The 2.44 m rack with tool set (133,90 €) is heavier built: 30×50 mm and 40×40 mm square tubes with 2 mm walls, rated 590 kg, weighing 26.5 kg itself. It comes with a PVC top cover, “2 x wrenches for quick assemble, 1 x fire poker, and 1 x fire tong”. It costs 52,00 € more than the CJODB08FT for about twice the rated load; VEVOR gives no storage figure for it.

Heavy-duty racks (KD series)

The KD-SKU racks are newer listings (“New” on the store) with much higher load ratings. The KD-SKU-003 (103,99 €) is 2440×355×1230 mm, about the same footprint as the CJODB08FT, but rated 1100 kg instead of 299.4 kg, with “a matching cover made of 600D Oxford fabric”. It costs 22,09 € more than the CJODB08FT (our arithmetic). If you stack dense hardwood the full length and height, that rating gap matters more than the cover style.

KD-SKU-003: 2440 mm, 1100 kg rated, with cover, 103,99 € (official VEVOR image).

The KD-SKU-011EU (136,99 €) and KD-SKU-012EU (167,99 €) are deep, tall racks: 1855×715×1850 mm, rated 730 kg, with 1962.6 L of listed storage. That makes them the cheapest per cubic metre in this guide, about 56 €/m³ without a cover (our arithmetic). The 011EU comes “with a large-capacity firewood carrier bag” but no cover; the 012EU has a waterproof cover and costs 31,00 € more. If you already have a tarp or a roof overhang, the 011EU is the better buy.

Sheds with a polycarbonate roof

The two roofed sheds replace the fabric cover with a sloped roof of “impact-resistant and UV-stabilized” polycarbonate panels, so the sides stay open to the wind. They are 700 mm deep. The GB-DOME-15 is 1430×700×1430 mm and costs 164,90 €; the CJDDAXING6FT is 1850×700×1800 mm and was on a deal at 234,90 € (305,90 € before, “Deal ends Nov. 18”). Both are rated 299.4 kg, the same as the 2.4 m fabric racks.

Two things do not quite match on these pages. The feature text says “Galvanized Steel & Aluminum Alloy Frame”, while the spec lists say “Q195 Steel” (6 ft) and “Black-Coated Tubes + Clear Panels” (4 ft). And the storage figure, “4 ft × 4 ft × 13.8 in” for the 4 ft shed, uses a 13.8 in (35 cm) depth on a 70 cm deep frame. You pay for the roof and the look: about 115 and 101 €/m³ of frame, against 56–69 € for the KD-SKU-011EU and 012EU (our arithmetic).

Small 1.2 m racks

For a balcony, a porch or a week’s wood by the door: the open KD-SKU-001 at 42,99 € is the cheapest listing in this guide and is rated 250 kg. The CJDDB04FT (64,99 €, partial cover) and the CJDDB84FT (68,90 €, full cover) are the same 1220×320×1180 mm frame with a 600D Oxford cover, rated 181.4 kg. A Portuguese buyer of the semi-covered version wrote that they “immediately loaded it up with 200 kilos of wood” and that “It comes with a heavy duty cover too”. Note that 200 kg is a bit over the 181.4 kg rating. The full cover costs 3,91 € more than the partial one (our arithmetic).

The log cart

The FC1359 log cart (64,90 €) moves wood from the rack to the stove: a powder-coated steel frame on two 266.7 mm PU wheels, rated 113.4 kg, 670×520×1100 mm, weighing 8.45 kg, with a waterproof cloth. VEVOR says it is “the ideal size for transporting wood longer than 20.5 inches” (52 cm) and that the larger wheels let it glide “over low-rise steps”. A version with pneumatic wheels was on a deal that ended within hours, so we left it out.

Who each one is for

  • VEVOR KD-SKU-011EU (136,99 €): for the most wood for the money, if you have a roof overhang or your own tarp. Skip it if you need a cover in the box; take the 012EU for 31,00 € more.
  • VEVOR CJODB012FT 3.8 m (94,90 €): for a long wall or fence, with a cover, at the lowest price per m³ among covered racks. Skip it if you stack heavy hardwood high; it is rated 299.4 kg.
  • VEVOR KD-SKU-003 (103,99 €): for a 2.4 m rack that has to carry a lot: 1100 kg rated, cover included. Skip it if you only need a light rack; the CJODB08FT is 22,09 € cheaper.
  • VEVOR CJODB08FT 2.4 m (81,90 €): for a standard 2.4 m rack with a half cover at a low price. Skip it if your logs are short; it is only 360 mm deep.
  • VEVOR CJDDAXING6FT shed (234,90 €): for a tidy shed look with an open-sided roof, while the deal lasts. Skip it if you mainly want volume per euro.
  • VEVOR KD-SKU-001 (42,99 €): for a porch or balcony on a small budget. Skip it if it will stand in the rain; add a cover or pick the CJDDB84FT.
  • VEVOR FC1359 log cart (64,90 €): for carrying wood from the rack to the house. Skip it if your path has high steps.

Shipping, returns and warranty

  • Shipping: VEVOR’s EU shipping policy says “All products are currently free shipping, except in some remote areas”, and lists per-item fees for items of 30 kg and above in some countries (40 € for Romania). None of these thirteen weighs that much by its listed net weight (the heaviest is the KD-SKU-012EU at 28.02 kg), and all showed free shipping to Romania on October 31, 2026. Check the fee for your country in the basket.
  • Returns and warranty: “All our products come with a 12-months warranty and can be returned for free within 30 days of delivery for approved reasons!”
  • Not included here: on October 31, 2026 the 6 ft version of the tool-set rack and four indoor log holders were out of stock, and a 2415 mm KD rack (52,99 €, “Only 3 Left”) and an 830 mm indoor holder (37,99 €, “Only 1 Left”) were almost gone.

FAQ

Which VEVOR firewood rack is cheapest?
The open 1220 mm KD-SKU-001 at 42,99 €, rated 250 kg. Prices as shown on the EU store on October 31, 2026, VAT included.

Does the 2.4 m “1/2 cord” rack really hold half a cord?
Not a full cord measure: half a cord is about 1.81 m³, while the whole 2570×360×1170 mm frame is about 1.08 m³ (our arithmetic). Compare racks by their dimensions instead.

Which one holds the most wood per euro?
The 1855×715×1850 mm KD-SKU-011EU, at about 56 € per cubic metre of frame (our arithmetic), followed by the 3.8 m CJODB012FT at about 59 €.

Cover, roof or nothing?
A cover or roof keeps rain and snow off the top; open sides let the wood dry. Fabric covers with zips are cheap; the polycarbonate-roof sheds stay open at the sides but cost more per cubic metre.

How long should my logs be?
The 1.2, 2.4 and 3.8 m racks are 320–360 mm deep, so logs of roughly that length suit them best. The 700–715 mm deep racks take two rows of short logs.
