Prices checked on the official EdrawMind pricing pages on October 28, 2026 (US dollars shown, before any local taxes). Wondershare changes prices and promotions often, so the price on the checkout page is the one that counts. We have not lab-tested EdrawMind; plans, limits and terms below come from the official pricing pages, their FAQ and the Wondershare refund policy.
Short answer: EdrawMind, Wondershare’s mind-mapping app, costs US$39 for six months, US$59 a year, or US$118 once (Perpetual, version 14 on desktop). The Perpetual plan costs the same as two years of the Annual plan, so it pays off from year three. If you also need diagrams, the US$215 bundle adds EdrawMax V16 for US$97 more. On every plan card, leave the “Edraw Creative Assets” box unticked unless you want a US$15.90/month subscription after a 7-day trial. See the current EdrawMind prices.

The subscription cards say “Automatically renew, cancel any time.” The Perpetual cards say “One-time payment.” The store FAQ explains that a perpetual plan is “the right to use a specific version of an app indefinitely”. Here that version is EdrawMind V14 on desktop. Phone, tablet and online access, and the cloud storage, last 3 years.
Semi-Annual vs Annual vs Perpetual: the arithmetic
- Two Semi-Annual terms cost US$78, US$19 more than one Annual plan (our arithmetic). Semi-Annual only makes sense if you need EdrawMind for one project and will cancel.
- Perpetual (US$118) = two years of Annual (US$59 × 2). Three years of Annual cost US$177, so Perpetual is US$59 cheaper from year three. It also has more cloud storage (10GB vs 1GB).
- But Perpetual is tied to version 14. The FAQ calls it “one-time payment for a major version of the software”. Phone and online access end after 3 years.
- Upgrading later costs the full price. The FAQ says you can upgrade from a subscription to Perpetual at any time, but “it is NOT possible to deduct your subscription payment from the price of the perpetual plan.” If you think you will keep EdrawMind for years, buy Perpetual at the start.

The EdrawMind + EdrawMax bundle
The third card, the “Perpetual Bundle Plan”, costs US$215 once. It includes EdrawMind V14 and “EdrawMax V16 (desktop) – An all-in-one diagram tool for 210+ types of drawings”, plus 3 years of mobile and online access and 3 years of 20GB cloud. On the same day EdrawMax Perpetual alone cost US$198. So the two Perpetual plans bought separately would cost US$316, and the bundle saves US$101 (our arithmetic). Put another way: if you were going to buy EdrawMax Perpetual anyway, EdrawMind costs only US$17 extra in the bundle. If you only need mind maps, the bundle is US$97 you do not need to spend. Full EdrawMax plan details are in our EdrawMax prices guide.
The US$15.9 a month box: Edraw Creative Assets
Each plan card has an “Edraw Creative Assets” box: “Try Edraw Creative Assets 7 days for free, then auto-renew at US$ 15.9 /month.” When we loaded the page on October 28, 2026, all these boxes were unticked. If you tick one, that is a separate monthly subscription. Over a year it would cost US$190.80, more than three times the Annual plan (our arithmetic).
The compare table shows what it adds. The paid plans list “AI Features: 500 Tokens”. With Creative Assets, the EdrawMind and EdrawMax AI features show “Unlimited Tokens”, and you get extra community templates (“1,000+ extra templates on EdrawMind” and 5,000+ on EdrawMax). The FAQ says that while you subscribe, “use of AI features will not consume any AI tokens.” If you use the AI mind-map generator heavily, you may want it. If you mostly build maps by hand, leave it off. You can still add it later.

The free plan is enough to learn the app and make a few small maps. The 100-topic limit and the watermark are what usually push people to pay. The official site says EdrawMind is “trusted by over 25 million users worldwide” and that your maps “stay synced across desktop, web, mobile, and tablet.” Its AI “Mind Map Agent” can “start with a prompt, file, webpage, or existing map.” Download EdrawMind free. Student and team prices
Plan: Student Six-Month
- Price: US$35
- Notes: List US$39; Student Beans verification
Plan: Student One-Year
- Price: US$49
- Notes: List US$59; US$10 less than the regular Annual plan (our arithmetic)
Plan: Student Two-Year
- Price: US$79
- Notes: List US$118; US$39 less than two regular Annual plans (our arithmetic)
Plan: Team Annual
- Price: US$79 per user
- Notes: “US$6.58 per user per month, billed annually”; 3 users US$237, 5 users US$395
Plan: Team Perpetual
- Price: US$129 per user
- Notes: EdrawMind V14; 3 users US$387, 5 users US$645; a quote form for more than 10 users
The student page says: “Student discounts are for individual use only and cannot be used commercially.” The Student Two-Year plan (US$79) is the cheapest way to get two years of EdrawMind. Team plans cost US$20 more per user per year than the individual Annual plan, and US$11 more for Perpetual (our arithmetic). The extra pays for central licence management (“Multi-User Control”, “Easy Deployment”). On commercial use, the FAQ says “The commercial use issue is complicated” and points to the Edrawsoft User License Agreement, so read that first if you work for clients.
Refunds, renewals and cancelling
The store promises “up to a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee”, with refunds “approved under the accepted circumstances.” Under the Wondershare refund policy, most products bought directly from Wondershare can be refunded within up to 30 days of the first payment. EdrawMind is not on the shorter 7-day list (MobileTrans, Dr.Fone, Recoverit, Repairit, Relumi and Media.io). The policy also says:
- A renewal order is not refundable if the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal charge. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- EU residents may have a 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to legal exceptions.
- Purchases made through app stores or resellers are refunded by that seller, not by Wondershare.
To cancel, the FAQ says: sign in to the Wondershare Account Center, choose “Plan & Product – Manage Subscription”, then “Cancel Subscription”. Your maps are not deleted: “the files you’ve made are still accessible”, but your account goes back to the free limits above.
Things to check before you buy
- The Creative Assets checkbox. It appears on all three cards. Leave it unticked unless you want the US$15.9/month subscription.
- Currency. The store may open in your local currency. The currency switch is to the right of the Individuals / Team & Business / Education tabs.
- Perpetual = version 14. Major upgrades may cost extra, and phone and online access end after 3 years.
- Older prices elsewhere. Affiliate feeds and older reviews (including some older SiftGuide posts) list EdrawMind licences with other names and prices. On October 28, 2026 the official store showed the prices above.
- Pop-up offers. The pricing page code includes an “Extra 10% OFF” pop-up. We did not see it applied, so all prices here are without it.
- Payment. The FAQ lists “all major credit cards, PayPal, bank/wire transfer, and other local payment methods.”
