Every price and spec below comes from VEVOR’s own product pages, product Q&A answers signed “By vevor” and store policies, checked on October 29, 2026. We have not tested these welders; specs and claims are as listed by the seller. Figures marked “our arithmetic” are our own calculations, and translations of non-English reviews and answers are ours.

Prices are in euros, exactly as the store showed them, with the store’s default delivery country (Ireland) selected; every page we used said “VAT included” and showed free shipping. Prices can change with your delivery country and over time, so the checkout price is the one that counts.

A MIG welder feeds wire from a spool through a torch and melts it into the joint. The cheapest ones run gasless flux-core wire, which carries its own shielding inside the wire, so you need no gas bottle. Step up and you get gas MIG (solid wire plus a shielding gas bottle, for cleaner welds), stick (MMA) and lift TIG on the same box, and at the top, pulse MIG and aluminium wire. VEVOR’s EU store had 12 MIG welders in stock on October 29, 2026, from 99,90 € to 365,99 €. The choice comes down to five things: which processes you will really use, how thick the steel is, the wire spool size, whether a TIG torch or aluminium gun is in the box, and what your power supply can take.

Sorted by price. Thickness, spool and weight are as listed; the two 3-in-1 MIG-200/250 pages list wire weight as “2.2 /11 pounds” (1 or 5 kg) and give no welding thickness. Star ratings are not compared: these pages share three review pools (seven of them show the same 754 reviews at 4.4 out of 5, the two 3-in-1 models share 575 reviews at 4.7, and the three 145/180 A models share just 3 reviews), so the stars do not tell you about the exact model you pick.

VEVOR MIG130: gasless flux-core only, 130 A, ≤ 8 mm listed, 1 kg spool, 5.6 kg with accessories (official VEVOR image).

Gasless, gas, stick, TIG, pulse: what “X-in-1” means

  • 1-in-1, gasless only. The 99,90 € MIG130 runs flux-core wire and nothing else. Asked in Norwegian whether it can also be used with gas, VEVOR answered “Nei”: it can only be used without gas. Fine for outdoor repairs, gates and trailers, where wind would blow shielding gas away anyway; flux core leaves slag to chip off.
  • 2-in-1, gas and gasless. The MIG130G adds gas MIG with solid wire for 24,00 € more (our arithmetic). You will need a gas bottle and regulator, which are not part of any listing here.
  • 3-in-1 and 4-in-1. Stick (MMA) and lift TIG are added. The 130 A 3-in-1 costs only 5,00 € more than the gasless MIG130, but its page says it is “Only Compatible with Flux Core Wire”; it has no gas MIG. The 4-in-1 models (145, 160 and 200 A) do gas and gasless MIG plus stick and lift TIG.
  • 5-in-1, pulse and aluminium. The MIG-200AU and MIG-250 add “MIG Pluse” (sic) and aluminium wire in 1.0 and 1.2 mm. The MIG-180 does aluminium MIG with a spool gun in the box.

VEVOR MIG160D: 4-in-1 (gas and gasless MIG, stick, lift TIG), 160 A, ≤ 10 mm listed, takes 5 kg spools (official VEVOR image).

Welding thickness and wire spools

Thickness. VEVOR lists a maximum for most models: 5 mm for both MIG-145s, 8 mm for the 130 A models and the MIG-180, 10 mm for the MIG160D and 15 mm for the 200 and 250 A 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 models. Treat these as the top of the range, not everyday settings: body panels and thin box section are at the bottom, trailer frames and gates in the middle. A buyer in Romania, reviewing the 250 A 5-in-1, bought it for a heavy steel staircase structure that had to be done at height, wanted something portable that would not need 400 V, and sums it up as “impresionant pentru banii platiti” (impressive for the money paid, our translation).

Spool size. The 130 and 145 A models take 1 kg spools only. The MIG160D, 200, 250 and 180 A models take 5 kg spools, which cost less per kilo and last much longer. VEVOR answered on the MIG160D that 0.6 mm wire does not fit: it officially supports 0.8 and 1.0 mm.

What is (not) in the box

  • TIG torch: only the two 3-in-1 MIG-200 and MIG-250 models list a TIG torch and a 2 m argon tube in the package. Every other multi-process model here says the lift TIG torch is not included. A French buyer on the MIG-145 pool writes “Dommage que la torche TIG ne soit pas fourni d’emblée” (a pity the TIG torch is not supplied from the start, our translation).
  • Aluminium gun: the MIG-180 title says “Spool Gun Included”. The 5-in-1 MIG-200AU and MIG-250 say the aluminium welding torch “is not included and needs to be purchased separately”. On the MIG-200AU, VEVOR answered that the XLSP100T10 spool gun is “generally compatible” and that the gas should be “100% Argon” for aluminium.
  • Gas: no listing includes a gas bottle or regulator; plan for them if you want gas MIG or TIG.

Power supply, fuses and duty cycle

These are 220 V single-phase machines (the 3-in-1 MIG-200 lists “1 phases 220V±10%”), and VEVOR answered on the MIG130, MIG-200AU and MIG-250 5-in-1 pages that they come with an EU plug. The pages list an input capacity of 4.3 to 8.2 kVA. Divided by 230 V, that is roughly 19.6 A for 4.5 kVA, 26.5 A for 6.1 kVA and 35.7 A for 8.2 kVA at full output (our arithmetic, a rough peak figure, not a fuse rating). At lower settings the machines draw less. VEVOR’s own answers: for the 130 A 2-in-1, “Den är 220V, säkring 15A” (it is 220 V, 15 A fuse, our translation); for the 3-in-1 MIG-200, “Ja, 230V 16A er nok” (yes, 230 V 16 A is enough). Asked what fuse the 250 A 5-in-1 needs, VEVOR did not give a number. If you plan to weld near full power, check the manual and your circuit with an electrician. On a generator, VEVOR says the MIG130 needs at least 5.6 kW.

Duty cycle (how long a welder can run at a given current in a 10-minute window before it needs to cool) is listed on only one page: the 3-in-1 MIG-200 says “200A@60%”. None of the other 11 pages states one, so you cannot compare them on it.

Read the listing twice

Several listings are confusing or contradict each other. We report what we found so you can check before you buy or ask VEVOR:

  • 4 mm or 8 mm? The 130 A 2-in-1 MIG130G spec table says “≤ 8 mm”, while its description says it “supports welding thicknesses up to 4mm”. Plan for the lower figure.
  • “0.1mm” wire. The 4-in-1 MIG-145 description says it takes 0.04" “(0.1mm)” wire; its spec table says 0.8 and 1 mm, which is what 0.04" means.
  • Height in inches and centimetres. The 3-in-1 MIG-200 dimensions read “16.9 x 7.3 x 11.7 in / 43 x 18.5 x 11.7 cm”. 11.7 in is about 29.7 cm (our arithmetic), so the centimetre figure is wrong.
  • “Voltage Adapter” not included. The 200 A 4-in-1 says “The Voltage Adapter and Lift TlG Torch are not included”. It is a 220 V machine for EU sockets; you should not need an adapter in Europe, but the note is there.
  • Reviews are pooled. The 754-review pool mixes the 130, 160, 200 and 250 A models (the Romanian review above is for the 250 A, shown on the 130 A page too). The MIG-145 and MIG-180 share just 3 reviews, and the MIG-180 showed “Almost sold out”.
  • Two different “MIG-200”s and “MIG-250”s. The 4-in-1/5-in-1 family and the 3-in-1 family use the same model names for different machines. Quote the price and the “X-in-1” when you contact VEVOR.

VEVOR MIG-180: 5-in-1 with aluminium MIG, spool gun included, 2T/4T/spot, 5 kg spool, 15.5 kg (official VEVOR image).

Safety. Whatever you buy, budget for an auto-darkening helmet, leather gloves, a fire-resistant jacket and good ventilation; flux-core and galvanised steel smoke is not something to breathe. Weld away from anything flammable.

FAQ

Which VEVOR MIG welder is cheapest?
The gasless MIG130 at 99,90 € (flux core only, 130 A). The cheapest one that also does gas MIG is the 2-in-1 MIG130G at 123,90 €. Prices as shown on the EU store on October 29, 2026, delivery set to Ireland.

Do I need gas?
Not for flux-core (gasless) wire, which every model here runs. Gas MIG with solid wire, TIG and aluminium need a gas bottle and regulator, which no listing includes; VEVOR says aluminium needs 100% argon.

Which one includes a TIG torch?
Only the 3-in-1 MIG-200 and MIG-250 list a TIG torch and argon tube in the package. All other multi-process models say the lift TIG torch is not included.

Can I weld aluminium?
Yes with the MIG-180 (spool gun included) or the 5-in-1 MIG-200AU and MIG-250 with an aluminium torch or spool gun bought separately. VEVOR says the 3-in-1 MIG-200 can weld aluminium, but “the welding effect is not as good”.

Will it run on a normal socket?
They are 220 V single-phase machines, and VEVOR says the ones asked about have an EU plug. VEVOR says 230 V 16 A is enough for the 3-in-1 MIG-200 and a 15 A fuse for the 130 A 2-in-1. Bigger models at full power may need a stronger circuit; check the manual and ask an electrician.

What thickness can I weld?
As listed: 5 mm (MIG-145), 8 mm (130 A models, MIG-180), 10 mm (MIG160D) and 15 mm (200 and 250 A 4-in-1 and 5-in-1). The MIG130G page says both 8 mm and 4 mm.
