Wondershare Repairit is AI-powered file repair software aimed at fixing corrupted videos, photos, documents, audio and related files. The official site lists Desktop, Online and Relumi AI (mobile) options. On the File Repair buy page, individuals choose among three license lengths: 1 Month, 1 Year and Perpetual. Here is how those plans compare on price and what the store FAQ says about renewals and updates.

What Repairit is for (from the official site)

  • Video, photo, file and audio repair — Repairit positions itself as an all-in-one AI repair and enhance tool for corrupted media and documents.
  • File Repair formats — the File Repair FAQ lists corrupt Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and Adobe files among what it can repair (see the Tech Specification page on the store for full detail).
  • Video Repair — the Video Repair FAQ says it can fix videos corrupted during shooting, recording, transferring, editing, converting or processing, with popular formats such as MOV, MP4, M2TS and MKV.
  • Advanced / Professional modes — for severe damage, the store points users to Advanced Repair when Quick Repair is not enough; Video Repair also describes Professional Mode for RAW/HDR/LOG, 4K+, and preserving encoding/metadata for editors like Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.
  • Preview and batch — the homepage highlights previewing repaired files before saving and batch repair of multiple files.
  • Platforms — Desktop, Online, and Relumi AI on mobile are listed on the Repairit homepage.

Month vs Year vs Perpetual

1 Month License: US$29.99

Best for: a one-off recovery. According to Repairit’s FAQ, the 1-month license covers monthly free use and updates. You get an email seven days before the period ends with instructions to continue or cancel. Choose this if you need to repair files now and do not want a year commitment.

1 Year License: US$39.99

Best for: recurring repair needs over a year. The FAQ describes one year of use and updates, with a renewal reminder seven days before the end. On October 16 the listed year price was only US$10 more than the month plan, so if you expect more than one repair session in the next year, the annual license is the clearer value of the two subscriptions.

Perpetual License: US$59.99 one-time

Best for: people who dislike subscriptions. The store FAQ is explicit: perpetual gives lifetime access to the version you purchased, including minor updates, but does not include future major versions (it uses Repairit 2 to Repairit 3 as the example). If a new major version ships, you would need a new plan for that version. The buy page labels this as one-time fees.

Things to check before you buy

  • File Repair vs Video Repair. Same license lengths and USD prices on both buy pages we checked; buy the product page that matches your corrupted files.
  • Subscriptions renew. Month and Year plans renew unless you cancel; the FAQ says you can cancel the next subscription at any time and that you get a reminder email seven days prior.
  • Perpetual is version-locked for majors. Minor updates are included; major version jumps are not.
  • Refunds. The buy-page FAQ we reviewed does not state a specific money-back window. Wondershare links a separate Refund Policy from the site footer — read that policy on wondershare.com before you purchase.
  • Marketing claims. The homepage advertises metrics such as format counts and success rates; treat those as vendor marketing, not independent lab results.

Which Repairit license should you choose?

  • One corrupted batch this month, then done: 1 Month.
  • Cameras, cards or office files that break more than once a year: 1 Year.
  • You want to pay once and stay on the current major version: Perpetual.
