Here is how those plans compare on the USD prices shown today and what the store FAQ says about renewals, watermarks and major-version upgrades.

- Edit tracks separately — paid plans advertise editing the microphone, screen and camera on separate tracks, plus green screen, annotations, pan & zoom, brand kits and custom watermarks on the Advanced editing toolset.

- Multi-monitor capture — the FAQ says you can record multiple monitors at once when you select the whole area.

Monthly vs Quarterly vs Yearly vs Perpetual
Cross-Platform Monthly: US$15/mo
Best for: trying paid features for a short stretch. The Windows individuals store includes a Cross-Platform Monthly Plan in its plan list. The subscription tooltip on that page states you will be charged US$15 when the subscription auto-renews monthly. Like other subscriptions, the FAQ says you get an email seven days before the period ends with renew or cancel instructions.

Cross-Platform Quarterly: US$29.99/qtr
Best for: a few months of demos or course recording without a full year commitment. On October 16 the listed quarterly price was US$29.99 against a regular US$49.99, with the same auto-renew and cancel language as other subscriptions. The comparison table ties subscription columns to 500 AI credits per month.

Cross-Platform Yearly: US$59.99/yr
Best for: regular tutorial or demo production over a year. Listed at US$59.99 per year (regular US$69.99). The FAQ is explicit that subscription plans include all updates and upgrades during the subscription period — unlike Perpetual, which stops at the current major version.
Check the current Yearly price
Perpetual: US$79.99 one-time
Best for: people who dislike subscriptions and are happy to stay on the current major version. Listed at US$79.99 (regular US$99.99). The FAQ distinguishes updates (minor) from upgrades (major, e.g. DemoCreator V5 to V6): Perpetual includes updates to the current major version but not upgrades to future major versions. The comparison table shows 2,000 AI credits for Perpetual (not a monthly allotment).

Things to check before you buy
- Subscriptions renew. The FAQ says all subscriptions renew if you are satisfied, with an email seven days prior that includes renew or cancel instructions, and that you can cancel.
- Trial watermark and 5-minute free cap. Trial exports are watermarked; free recording is limited to 5 minutes per record (FAQ).
- Perpetual is major-version locked. Minor updates are included; jumping to a new major version is not.
- Creative Assets add-on. The store offers a 7-day Creative Assets trial that then auto-renews monthly separately from the software — check the checkout toggles.
- Regional prices differ. The same HTML shows alternate USD figures for some country flags (for example India/SA). Confirm the price on the store for your account region before paying.
- Refunds. The store page states up to a 30-day money-back guarantee under accepted circumstances; read Wondershare’s refund policy before you purchase.
Which DemoCreator plan should you choose?
- Just testing, or a short clip where a watermark is acceptable: Free / trial.
- A few weeks of paid recording without a quarter commitment: Monthly.
- A course or client project spanning a couple of months: Quarterly.
- Ongoing demos/tutorials for a year, and you want major upgrades included: Yearly.
- You want to pay once and stay on the current major version: Perpetual.
