EU store, euro prices. All links go to eur.vevor.com, VEVOR’s European store. Prices are in euros, VAT included, exactly as the store showed them on November 3, 2026 (re-checked right before publishing), with Romania as the delivery country. Every product we link showed “In Stock”, free shipping, free returns and no time-limited deal, so the price shown is also the delivered price. Prices change; the store price at checkout is the one that counts.
November is firewood season: storm-felled trees to clear, logs to cut to stove length, branches to take down before the snow loads them. On November 3, 2026 we went through VEVOR’s EU chainsaw, pole saw and chainsaw mill listings and kept 12 picks: six gas chainsaws from 25.4 to 62 cc (88,99 €–122,99 €), two gas pole saws, a manual pole saw for high branches and three chainsaw mill accessories that turn logs into boards, from 24,90 €. Anything out of stock, nearly sold out or on a countdown deal was left out.
Safety first. A chainsaw is one of the most dangerous tools you can own. Wear a helmet with face shield and ear protection, cut-resistant chainsaw trousers or chaps, gloves and safety boots. Hold the saw with both hands, keep the bar’s upper tip (the kickback zone) away from wood, and never cut above shoulder height with a hand-held saw; that is what pole saws are for. Do not work alone when felling, keep bystanders at least two tree lengths away from a falling tree, and leave large or leaning trees and anything near power lines to professionals. VEVOR lists a guard plate and switch against accidental starts and kickback on its chainsaws; that is not a substitute for protective gear.

cc, bar length and cutting capacity: what the numbers mean
- Displacement (cc) is engine size. More cc means more power for hardwood and long bars, but also more weight and fuel. 25–40 cc suits pruning and small logs; 52–62 cc is for firewood rounds and storm clean-up.
- Guide bar length (12–22″ here) sets the thickest log you can cut in one pass. VEVOR lists about 250 mm for the 12″ saw, 300 mm for 14″, 430 mm for 18″, 455 mm for 20″ and 505 mm with the 22″ bar. A longer bar on a small engine just cuts slowly; match the bar to the engine.
- 2-stroke fuel. All the gas saws here are 2-stroke and VEVOR recommends a 40:1 petrol-to-oil mix. Use fresh petrol and proper 2-stroke oil, and fill the separate chain oil tank every time you refuel.
- Weight (VEVOR’s figures, without fuel) goes from 4.2 kg for the 25.4 cc saw to 8.8 kg for the 62 cc kit. For an afternoon of cutting, lighter is safer.
Gas chainsaws, 25.4–62 cc (89–123 €)
All six come from the same VEVOR range: 2-stroke engines up to 11500 rpm, a throttle-synced choke for easier starting, separate fuel and chain oil tanks, and a guard plate and switch against accidental starts and kickback.
- 25.4 cc, 12″ bar (88,99 €): 0.75 kW, 4.2 kg, a 230 ml fuel tank and a 12″ bar for logs up to about 250 mm. The light one for pruning, kindling and small garden trees.
- 40 cc, 14″ bar (102,99 €): 1.15 kW, 5.6 kg, logs up to 300 mm. It costs 14,00 € more than the 25.4 cc saw (our arithmetic), but on November 3, 2026 it cost exactly the same as the 52 cc saw below.
- 52 cc, 18″ bar (102,99 €): 2.0 kW, 6.6 kg, a 550 ml fuel tank and logs up to 430 mm. Our pick for firewood: same price as the 40 cc saw for a much bigger engine and bar, only 1 kg heavier.
- 58 cc, 20″ bar (105,99 €): 2.2 kW, 6.75 kg, logs up to 455 mm. 3,00 € more than the 52 cc saw (our arithmetic) for 2″ more bar.
- 62 cc, 20″ bar (115,99 €): the most powerful engine here, 2.7 kW, on the same 20″ bar; 7.2 kg. 10,00 € more than the 58 cc saw for extra power in hardwood.
- 62 cc with 20″ and 22″ bars (122,99 €): the same 62 cc engine with two bars; the 22″ bar takes logs up to 505 mm. Only 7,00 € more than the single-bar 62 cc saw (our arithmetic), and the long bar is the one to pair with a chainsaw mill.

Pole saws for high branches (60–177 €)
A pole saw keeps your feet on the ground and the chain far from your face; it is the safe way to take down branches above shoulder height. Stand to the side of the branch, never directly under it.
- Manual pole saw, 118–809 cm (59,90 €): no engine at all, 8 fiberglass sections with metal threads, two dual-hook 65Mn steel blades and a carrying bag; 6.1 kg. VEVOR recommends about 6 sections (around 6 m) for normal trimming. Ideal for a few fruit trees.
- Gas pole saw 25 cc, 8″ bar (142,90 €): 1.2 hp, branches up to 150 mm, 2–2.74 m long with one extension pole, 7.2 kg, shoulder strap and fuel mixing bottle included.
- Gas pole saw 52 cc, 14″ bar (176,90 €): branches up to 300 mm, 2.2–2.94 m with two extension poles, an 850 ml fuel tank, 9 kg. 34,00 € more than the 25 cc pole saw (our arithmetic) for twice the listed branch diameter.

Chainsaw mills: logs into boards (25–145 €)
A chainsaw mill clamps to the bar and holds the saw at a fixed height, so you can cut a log into slabs, beams or boards. Milling is slow, hard work for the engine: use the biggest saw you have (52–62 cc here) and a ripping chain if you mill a lot.
- Vertical cutting guide, 5.1–15.2 cm (24,90 €): a 1.45 kg cast-iron guide for straight vertical cuts, such as squaring beams or cutting posts to width. VEVOR says it fits various chainsaws.
- Portable chainsaw mill, 14–48″ bars (79,90 €): galvanised steel, slab thickness adjustable from 5 to 300 mm, 6.8 kg. Check your bar first: VEVOR lists it for bars from 14″ to 48″, so the 12″ saw above is too short for it.
- Chainsaw mill + 2.74 m rail guide (144,90 €): a mill for 14–36″ bars plus a 2.74 m aluminium rail with 4 adjustable plates. The rail gives you a flat reference for the first cut on a round log; after that the mill rides on the flat face. 65,00 € more than the mill alone (our arithmetic).

Price steps worth knowing
- 40 cc to 52 cc: 0,00 € on November 3, 2026. Unless you need the lightest saw, take the 52 cc.
- 52 cc 18″ to 58 cc 20″: 3,00 € for 25 mm more listed log capacity.
- 62 cc single bar to the two-bar kit: 7,00 € for a spare 22″ bar.
- A full milling starter set, the 62 cc two-bar kit plus the mill with rail: 267,89 € (our arithmetic). A budget set, the 52 cc saw plus the mill alone: 182,89 €.

FAQ
What size chainsaw do I need for firewood?
For logs up to about 40 cm, a 50–60 cc saw with an 18–20″ bar is the usual choice. Here that means the 52 cc 18″ saw (102,99 €) or the 58 cc 20″ saw (105,99 €).
What fuel mix do these saws use?
VEVOR recommends a 40:1 mix of petrol and 2-stroke oil for its gas chainsaws. Fill chain oil separately.
Can I use the chainsaw mill with any saw?
The portable mill is listed for bars from 14″ to 48″, and the mill-and-rail set for 14–36″. Use a powerful saw: milling loads the engine much more than cross-cutting.
Gas pole saw or manual pole saw?
A manual pole saw reaches higher (up to 809 cm) and needs no fuel, but every cut is muscle work. The gas pole saws reach 2.74–2.94 m plus your arm height and cut branches up to 150 or 300 mm fast.
Is shipping free to Romania?
Yes, all 12 picks showed free shipping, free returns and Romania as the delivery country on November 3, 2026.
