Prices are in euros, exactly as the store showed them (“VAT included”), with the store’s default delivery country (Ireland) selected. Grinding your own meat lets you pick the cut and the fat, and it is the first step to homemade sausages. The choice comes down to two things: hand crank or motor, and the size number (#5, #8, #10, #12, #22), which is the size of the grinder head and cutting plate. A bigger number pushes more meat through each turn. We compared the seven VEVOR meat grinders that were in stock on the EU store on October 26, 2026, from 34,90 € to 233,90 €: four clamp-on manual grinders and three electric ones.

All four manual grinders clamp to a table edge: 10–35 mm thick for the cast iron S#8 (0.39–1.38 in), 10–45 mm for the stainless ones. Every listing includes sausage tubes or a sausage kit. None had customer reviews on the EU store when we checked. Two more VEVOR electric grinders (at 132,90 € and 133,90 €) were out of stock that day, so we left them out.

Manual or electric
A manual grinder is cheap, light (1.9–2.7 kg here) and quiet, and it fits in a drawer. VEVOR does not list an output rate for any of the four, because it depends on how fast you turn the crank. That is fine for a kilo or two of burger meat; for a big sausage batch your arm will notice (our suggestion). An electric grinder does the work for you, but the three here weigh 9.0 to 18.6 kg, take a fixed spot on the counter and cost 50,00 € more at the cheapest step (SXC-8 vs the S#10 manual, our arithmetic).
For the electric models, the listed rates per minute add up quickly. In one 30-minute run (the continuous working time VEVOR lists for all three), that is about 69 kg on the SXC-8, 96 kg on the #12 and 125 kg on the SXC-22 (our arithmetic). Per kilo-per-minute of listed output, the #12 is the best value: 49,66 € against 54,30 € for the SXC-8 and 56,09 € for the SXC-22 (our arithmetic). For a home kitchen, even the SXC-8 is far more than most people need.

The catch: frozen meat and the 30-minute limit
The listings do not agree on frozen meat. On the SXC-8 page, VEVOR answered a customer on October 14, 2026: “We recommend using fresh or fully thawed meat cut into small pieces. Please avoid grinding hard, frozen meat, as it may damage the machine.” The SXC-22 listing, on the other hand, says its SUS420 blades are “capable of grinding chicken cartilage, frozen meat, and more”. And the cast iron S#8 listing suggests you can “freeze fresh meat to a hardened state before grinding”. If you plan to grind meat straight from the freezer, ask VEVOR about the exact model before you order. Bones are also listing-specific: the stainless #5 and S#10 mention “small bones”, the #8 “soft bones”.
- 30 minutes, then rest: the SXC-8 and #12 list a continuous working time of 30 min, and the SXC-22 says it “can operate continuously for 30 minutes” (another line on the same page says “without interruption”). The SXC-8 and #12 also have a reset button for overload protection.
- Gearbox oil on the SXC-22: asked which oil goes in the gearbox, VEVOR answered: “You can add engine oil, but don’t fill it too much at once, about 5-8 milliliters, which can last for 3-5 months.” So this one needs a little maintenance.
- Power supply: the SXC-22 lists AC230V 50Hz, which matches European sockets.
Cast iron vs stainless and cleaning
The cheapest grinder here is the cast iron S#8. VEVOR recommends that you “thoroughly dry the grinder before storing” it, so plan to hand-wash and dry it right away. The three 304 stainless manual grinders say all parts can go in the dishwasher. The stainless #8 costs 33,00 € more than the cast iron S#8 (our arithmetic). For the stainless #5 and #8, VEVOR also suggests a little edible oil on the blade now and then to keep it sharp. The #12 electric lists 201 stainless steel, a different grade from the 304 of the manual grinders. The SXC-22 parts are washed with water and must “dry thoroughly before storage”.

VEVOR electric meat grinder 1100 W (SXC-22): 233,90 €
For: near-commercial volumes: 1100 W copper motor, 9.2 lbs (about 4.2 kg) a minute, two blades, two plates and a sausage stuffer, and the only listing here that claims frozen meat. Skip if: it is for a home kitchen; it weighs 18.6 kg, costs 75,00 € more than the #12 (our arithmetic) and needs gearbox oil every few months.
Shipping, returns and warranty
- Shipping: each product page said “FREE Shipping” and “Get it Thur. Oct. 29 – Tues. Nov. 3” for Ireland on October 26, 2026. The shipping policy lists 2-6 business days of delivery, with more time for heavy and big-size products.
- Returns and warranty: “All our products come with a 12-months warranty and can be returned for free within 30 days of delivery for approved reasons!” For change-of-mind returns, “the buyer will bear the cost of return & restock”, and an 18.6 kg grinder is not cheap to send back, so pick the size before you order.
